On December 27th the Louisville Cardinals will square up with the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Belk Bowl.  It may not (definitely isn’t) be a big name bowl game, but it is a bowl game none the less.  Had you asked either fan base a few weeks into the season if they would be playing in the post season, both probably would have laughed at you.  UofL started the season 2-4 and lost to some teams that they were expected to beat.  Teddy Bridgewater and company starting getting it together and ended the season 7-5 and tied for the Big East championship.  The Wolfpack had a similar start before finishing the season with the same 7-5 record.  They ended the season with a huge 27 point come back to beat Maryland , giving them a lot of momentum heading into bowl season (if you can have momentum after a month layoff).  This should be a good game, and it is definitely a good look for both of these up and coming programs.
